For some fucking reason they don't allow g-mail and shit. So I figure fine, I'll use my pay-for Apple @me.com address---don't allow that either.

Can someone register me an account?

    Thanks <3

Why would you want to register there?
That site is a millionth time more serious than the GP. Unless you work for a gaming magazine or have press clearance, they'll shred you to pieces.

Registered on December 22, 2009. Approved on January 22, 2010. Really fun site, but it's not as serious as people like to make it out to be. Great site to get consolidated info about the games you play/are looking foward to.

It's a bunch of fanboys arguing about videogames... just like here. They don't like BSing though, which is silly.

Most of the guys who posted regularly to the rec.games.video.* post there, or used to.

It's 90% crap but given the sheer number of posts the 10% is worth hunting down and reading.

I want the search feature back. Drinky Crow and AstroLad are by far the best posters there.:rofl: Not being able to search for their posts sorta sucks.

The only thing that irritates me is not being able to just type stream of consciousness style like I do on OT... oh and getting called out on double posting. Whereas here I can fill an entire page with my own posts and no one gives a shit other than calling me a faggot and moving on.

Oh and part of the problem is having domain names. I have 4 or 5 domain names and also have the domain name with my last name. My main e-mail is

    <firstname>@<lastname>.org

They don't approve one off or even personal domain name emails.

You need a corporate or isp e-mail to register and get approved within a reasonable time.

I got banned from there in 07 for "trolling" the PS3. Place was a warzone back then; given the situation Sony was in and Microsoft owning them everywhere. One wrong post and you were done. Place should just be SonyFanboy.net

That's how it was for the fires of heavens boards, although I think that was because so many people queued to register and they probably dumped the queue after a while, I had to pm a mod to get it.

Yeah I only did it because there was a sticky that said "if you need activation and you've been waiting for more than 3 months PM me" from a mod. I waited like 2 years, just lurking, then I decided I would like to post.
