SO im looking for a monitor but i dont want to spend alot of money, tops is 300$ cause im on a budget hear and id like it to be from circuit city because i have gift cards from there.

this is the one im looking at:
    17 flat panel

Some people said its not good because the input is analog, but i have no clue what that means.

and unfortunatly it does not say the response time.

    thanks

analog vs dvi is the decision with lcd monitors. For that price range, you're probably looking at analog, something like the samsung 710N should be well in that price range. DVI would make a difference if you were doing a lot of graphics as it makes the colours on the screen more accurate.

    710N is more than $300...

Check out BenQ. That's within your range.

You missed a few decent deals on LCDs on Black Friday :\

IMO, I'd save and go with a 19" LCD if you can't afford to spend the extra $$ at the moment.

thanks guys, i know your saying its not good for gaming but all i need it for is going online....

And i like the one from newegg but unfortunatly i have over half my money from circuit city so i wanna try there. I just want it to be good enough so it puts out a solid picture when im online. The only "gaming" i do on this would be on pogo.com and well thats not really gaming.

    thanks

I know you said you want to try to stay at Circuit City, but I got a new Dell magazine that has the Dell 17" LCD (analog) on sale now for $259.
