Can someone help with routine?

    I want to excersize every day(I do now), and I want a routine that would be the same for every day of the week. So can you guys give me an idea on a routine to do?

    Reason I'm asking, is everyone ridiculed my routine which i made up from all the different excersizes on that bodybuilding site, and since there are like 40 excersizes for each muscle I guess I picked hte wrong ones?

    So can you give me a daily routine that works on all muscle groups?

    i dont think working out each muscle group 7x a week would be that smart

    need rest days.

    heres one that came off the top of my head

    mon: lowerbody (abdominal?)
    tues: chest/tri
    wed: rest
    thurs: back/shoulders
    friday: lowerbody
    saturday: rest
    sunday: bicep/forearm/abdominal

    [+cardio at the end of those days]



    must have's: barbell deadlift, barbell squat, and flat barbell bench press:bowdown:

    why is it not a good idea to work out every day?

    mentally its a bad idea, I dont seee whay you would want to be there every day...
    If you have to do somethign everyday stretch on the days you are off

    and muscles need recovery (assuming your lifting).


    working out 7 days a week where you lift on 5 of those days and do cardio on the last 2 would be fine at some point.

    you should really try working out every other day so u can recover some. as for a routine.. HST fits what you want, but that is really more advanced of a routine than you really need. i would stick to simple splits and base building routines, but here anyways...

    I like full body workouts 3 times a week, or a upper/lower split working out 4 times a week. But thats just me.

    What would be a good meal for breakfast/lunch/dinner/supper?

    I just started going to the gym recently with some friends and here is our routine.

    Monday - Chest
    Tuesday - Biceps
    Wednesday - Shoulders/Traps
    Thursday - Triceps
    Friday - Back
    Weekends - rest period

    My friends have been going to the gym for around 3 months now and they have made some nice progress using this routine.

    Everyone is different so different routines will affect people differently. One routine might work really well for someone while another won't do shit for them. You just have to find something that works for you.

    We're also taking multi-vitamins as well as Creatine and Isopure. Hope this helps.

    i was at 175 with very little muscle(no working out), I've been working out every day at home with a 40 lb weight and I made some progress. Went down to 150 lbs , and got some decent muscle/defintion. The weight loss kinda scares me sicne its so drastic, and I'm 5'11 so I feel like I'm underweight.


    So I would like to gain some more weight ~165 target weight but with muscle not fat. I went out today and bought 50 more lbs worth of weights, but I'm just going to add 30 extra lbs to start out with, since adding all 50 I had trouble getting the weihgt to shoulder height and changing the grip to lift the weight into the air.

    :rofl: Yes I know, we haven't started doing legs yet. We're concentrating more on upper body first...
