Im looking for serious replys. I have been reading around in here and not finding much of what I really want to know.

Im not trying to "diet" to lose a bunch of weight. I just want to eat heathly. I have stoped drinking soda's and now only drink water with an occasional gateraid.

I reading that 5-6 meals per day is a good way to start. What do you eat?

    PeanutButter
    Fruit
    Veggies
    Eggs
    Yogert
    Cottage Cheese

What are the amounts you eat? I mean sitting down and eating a whole jar of peanut butter can't be good. Any help would be great or links to other sites.

On the protein shakes what do you mix with milk or water? And will they add fat if your not lifting? Im running but have not got a lifting patter started yet.

Eating dinner right now. Filet of sole (breaded with nonfat milk and a liiiitle bit of flour to soak up olive oil) and some "spring mix" I just got from costco earlier (consists of baby greens and some purple shit... vegetably purple shit). Would be pretty low cal meal if I hadn't drenched it in olive oil and poured myself a 16oz glass of nonfat milk to wash it down.

Health: Keep your calories fairly low if you're not fat then don't bother restricting your diet much. Bad fats low, good fats at a reasonable level. Protein high. Complex carbs high. Stick to lean meats for the most part. beans in all their forms fill me up great and are pretty low cal for the volume.

Nonfat milk adds some cals but ups the taste by a lot. If you aren't lifting then you should be getting enough protein in your daily diet assuming you eat properly.

Im trying to balance eating. My job is the sole reason I have gotten in this shape 6'3 190lbs - no tone.

I work from 6pm-6am 3 times one week and 4 the next. And that means I eat fast food and pizza. I have made my first step and that was cutting out soda 100% Little over 6months now.

This is why I was wanting meal ideas. Simple things I can bring to work with me and eat.

Been eating salad, wheat toast, chicken, eggs and such.

It is just a source of protein. Total calories determines if you are cutting weight or adding it.

I see that you say you are "skinny-fat"...but 190 seems very light to be cutting at your height. Are you lifting weights? What are your goals? Health, strength, muscle, marathon runner?

If you just want to eat healthy just go look at http://www.mypyramid.gov/ or something like that, its not fucking rocket surgery. Pick up a readers digest, watch some oprah...you must be living in a cave if you haven't been beaten over the head on 'how to eat better' by the media.

    Do some BASIC legwork man.

    I wanted some broly input.

    I'm 6'3.5" and 190, I hit usually 2500 cal a day and maintain.

If you're trying to gain, shoot for 3000, if you're trying to cut, shoot for 2,300.

then don't ask for basic health, dumbass.

if you want to go broly I'd imagine the broly's would tell you to eat very high cal and very high protein, but you aren't going to get broly no matter how you eat unless you START LIFTING.

lack of a spotter is no real reason to not lift. You can still do deadlifts, squats, cleans, etc without needing a spotter.
