I've been trying to set up an anonymous FTP server all day and It says "permission denied" when I try to upload files, delete files, or make new directories. Any help would be appreciated.

Windows. I've tried Filezilla, Netfile, and UnlimitedFTP.

Sorry about being so vague, but I obviously don't know much about this. I'm using Filezilla, and I want to access it externally.

I know about the security issues. Thanks.

Installed ISS, went through the tut, but there is no "web site node" as described in the last step.

Yeah I'm running it. I haven't connected to anything so far.

I'm connected to the server now.

Ugh, I think there might be some confusion here. I already have the FTP server set up. I just can't do anything with it, I always get error messages.

Filezilla offers both a client and a server version, actually. And the fact that you would recommend IIS of all things .. :ugh:
