For Christmas, I received a Magnum Research .22LR. I have yet to shoot this thing, because it doesn't have sights and requires a scope. I really don't know what kind of scope to pick up for it just for general shooting usage. Do you guys have any suggestions?

    Max 200.

I just have no clue what the numbers on a scope mean.

    Hey negro,

We I'm home in Texas right now, but I'll be back later this week. Hurry up and buy a scope. We are going out to shoot clays next weekend. Bring that snorlax and come shoot with us

I would have bought this if I had the money to spend. I've heard a lot of good things about this one. I just went to Dicks Sporting Goods and picked up a $40 Simmons 3-9x40mm for my bolt action .22.

You guys are asking him to put a whole helluva lotta scope on a sub 5lb rifle.........

No ones mentioned what you are doing with this thing.... But if it were mine I'd score a used leupold M8 6X and send it in to leupy for an elevation turret. Making a qausi bench gun out of that rifle and cock blocking it with a hubble doesn't make much sense to me...

probobly low's based on that high rail built into the receiver.

Anyone order scopes from sportsmans guide? They seem to have some decent glass for cheap.
