can protein damage your health overtime?

    can someone please explain how protein can (if so) damage your health at all in overtime? my mother says it can damage your liver and im not a believer as long you use it right. i do weight lifting 2 hours 5 days a week and usually intake a scoop of whey protein after work outs. if someone can, please post up so i can show her this thread to explain to her.

    search. there are a lot of threads about the effects of high protein diets. Cliffs: High protein only causes liver/health issues in people who have a pre-existing liver problem.
