i just recieved a free powerbook g3

64ram ( im getting some free ram tomorrow :) )
    6gb hd :crying:
    but free nonetheless :naughty:

and my gf has a linksys wireless card from afew months ago that she used to use for her old laptop before she got a new ibook.

anywho, i should be able to use a linksys wireless card in the pc card slot of the g3 right?

and if i can, does it involve any weird updates er anything or download.

PS - im going to be running either OS9 or OSX so gimme answer fer both. thanks :wavey:

    probably not.

you may be able to find some third party drivers, but they don't have any official drivers.

    try googling...

    +Linksys +(the model number of your card) +"OS X" +driver

let us know what you find.

is there someone at your girlfriend's house that could, perhaps, be capable of answering a telephone call, e-mail, or instant message, then walking to said card, noting the model number and replying by one of the previously mentioned methods of communication with the model number as noted? :mamoru:

i'd say no, but its worth a try.

you'd be better off just getting an airport card.
