I need to format my G4 to try and sell it, but I dont have the OSX disks that came with it with me. Is it possible to install the powerbook intel disks onto my powerpc mac?

I feel like this is an obvious no question but it doesnt hurt to ask.

    no

also, just an fyi. there are multiple versions of osx discs.
the cover all is the retail one, which you can install on any system
but the disc that comes with your macbook is different than the one that comes with the macbook pro, which is different than the one that comes with your mac pro, which is.... sure you can install it on other computers specs, but issues tend to develop over time

also, you can't use an intel osx disc on a ppc computer and vice versa
