anyone know of any better deals?
299 isn't a terrible price local
Around here (TN) they are ~279-289 before tax/TCIS
Back in IL they are ~330-350 before tax/TCIS
Around here people are trying to get $360 and I've seen up to $399. I've seen them as low as $269 once for a week...best price I've seen anywhere and I missed out on that one.
I'd be in for $299.
One shop here told me 330 and I literally started loling at him on the phone I asked him if he was serious, he said yes, and I said oh...OK...guess I'll go to one of the 3 or 4 other local places and get it under 300.
He didn't seem to happy
So far I've gotten all my handguns through galleryofguns.com I go to the same shop, so you would assume the guy there knew I at least price shop and compare to galleryofguns.com. He still tried telling me $399 for the 4" version in black...the most basic, least expensive one there is! I won't be buying from him short of going through galleryofguns.com again. His prices through there are pretty sick for some reason though. I'm considering the CZ PO1 for $499 through there..
They used to be $200 when the first came out.
Paid 299 for mine
The 4" black and OD green ones are both 279 and the 5" black one is 319. This was as of ~2 weeks ago when I was in there looking at uppers. Their upper prices are less than impressive though tack on almost 10% TN sales tax and they aren't worth it at all.
In 2007 they were ~$250 all over the place. After the new year they went up everywhere. $299 is about average, especially for a local shop.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the cost of imported guns rise a little with the falling value of the dollar.
Dont get a 5'' barreled one...the stupid extension at the end of the barrel always comes loose while shooting.
I paid 260.
Gander Mountain had them on sale for $250 for awhile. Not sure if they still do
went to scheels sport today and regular price was 289.99
They are so awesome.
If you want to mount a suppressor, can you just order a longer threaded barrel and go? Are any version of the P22 incompatable with a threaded barrel / suppressor?
i think you can just buy an adapter for 30 bucks
i could be wrong though....
edit: something like this? http://www.keepshooting.com/firearmaccessories/add-ons/waltherp22_thread_adapter.htm
CA ones wont come with a threaded barrel. That makes them an "assult weapon"
