MIL Can I get federal financial aid AND money from the GI Bill?

  1. I wanna start going to school full time in January but I need to know if I can get financial aid and the GI Bill at the same time. It's gonna be hard to pay for school with just the GI Bill alone because I think my first year is gonna cost me around 2500 and I think the max amount you can get from the GI Bill a month is 1200. My mom told me that she thought my dad got both at the same time but she's not sure.

BTW, i got separated back in 2004 and i have veteran's status from enduring freedom

apply for both financial aid and use your tuition assistance. they don't interfere with each other and in most instance you will be issued a refund which is just free money in your pocket.
