A&P can I get a quick price check v. Nikon 28-70 2.8

    I've got a lead on a used nikon 28-70 2.8... Just want to make sure it's a good price. He's asking $1000.

    It's a sick lens. I've shot with it numerous times and each time I am more impressed.

    1g is about the low end of the market typically.

    That lens is widely considered one of Nikon's best and it's not called "The Beast" for nothing. If you purchase that lens it will easily become your favorite very quick.

    1,000 for the beast is a bit much honestly.

    I paid 925 or 950 shipped for mine. and I just hooked Joe up with one for like 850-875 from nikoncafe.

    1000 is too much IMO

    Well I got it... lens is minty.. perfect shape. He tossed in a filter and it was just under $1000. I'm content. Especially compared to $1700 for the 24-70.

    love my 28-70, wouldn't give it up for anything other than a 24-70
