Toast will convert, make titles & chapters for you and burn to a DVD.

easiest way in my opinion is to drop them into visual hub. it will not make menus and you have to goto the next chapter to get to the next episode

it has an option to make and burn a dvd from xvids. i had all the episodes of undeclared. i found that i could fit about 6 on a dvd before quality was compromised.

you just kinda have to test it out

sure, you could add all the episodes from one season onto one dvd, but it might look like junk.

to test it, you just have to make a video_ts folder, then drag that into niceplayer or vlc. it will start playing. then open the original xvid at the same time and see if you can spot excess pixelation.

it takes some testing to figure out the perfect balance of quality vs wasting dvds. but keep in mind that dvd-rs are cheap as hell...

i will try it out. the only problem im finding is after they are converted the converted files arent saved so i can just redo the whole process without going through the converting step. it puts them in a .iso file, you know the file with a hard drive icon on it. itd be easier to test it out just drag and burn.

i put 11 eps on one dvd and the quality is fine so i will give it a go.

ouch, i get stacks of them for free at the video store that is part of the grocery store that i work at

yeah, it kinda sucks that you have to reconvert everytime, just to test something out. it just takes time
