I always thought the 10 round limit didnt include rimfire tube magazines like in a lever action, but that 12020 c (the high cap mag statute) applied to all other types of rimfire magazines.

I think the only way we can get magazines above ten rounds is if we purchased it before the ban.

    NO

The only exception to the high-cap mag law is .22 rimfire TUBULAR magazines, the type that you drop in the rounds from the muzzle end.

Yes, the mags just have to live in another state.

I thought that rimfire was exempt from those laws

rimfire rifles are exempt from sb23 features (detachable mag + pistol grip|collapsable stock|flash hider etc...)

but, they must still meet the OAL requirement, minimum barrel length requirements, etc...

You wouldn't believe the number a CA folks that buy and then leave their nice new non CA rifles here in Reno or Carson City at friends houses or even at gunshops for storage, then drive up to shoot them.

Illegal. tell him that if he tries to buy your mag again, you will report him to the DOJ.

IIRC, Canadians can buy hi-cap .22lr magazines, not Californians.

he is trying to commit a felony. The fact that the guy is stupid enough to try this tells me that he isnt a person we want representing gun owners.

I see your :ugh: and raise you another :ugh:
