Is there a certain type of food that can attribute to heigh increase? Or an exercise that generally increases height? Probably a dumb question :hs:

Thanks for the info. I'm 5'6"-7". It sucks because eveyone makes fun at me for being short, but everyone else is only like 1-2" taller. So I was just wondering if there were certain foods or exercises know to maybe jolt height growth

The guy in the infomercial for an inverted table said he gained 1/2"or an entire 1" because of it.

In all seriousness, yes you can actually increase your height by up to an inch from working out. No, your legs and whatnot don't actually get longer, but it's not uncommon to gain 1/2" or 1" after many months of being on a good routine that builds core strength in your abs and back. I'm living proof of it actually, 6 months ago I was 235 pounds and 5'10", I went on an aggressive weight training program and diet and now i'm in the 170's and i'm about 3/4" taller, I attribute this to the fact that i've got a lot of core strength now and just stand taller and more straight and my posture is perfect as opposed to constantly slouching over when I was a fat body.

...or mabye it's all just in my head.

height is determined by genetics, just the same as hair and eye color, there is nothing you can do about it...except in the cases of terrible posture, which weight training can correct...but it cannot increase the length of your bones, just their density

you can however, hang in traction for a couple of months, that has shown to add 1/2 to 2 inches on people...for those that really care

im the same height as you...i just look at it as making the most of what i have, while tall people remain skinny little girly men that get injured and beat up easily

Dude, learn to love it. My Dad is 6'9". It's better to be tall than short.

I am 6'5" and I get asked how tall I am all the time "Do you play basketball" is probably the question I hear the most.

For as funny as it sounds, a few visits to the chiropractor might help. Your spine might be twisted or misaligned. If this is the case and you get your back straighter, you might see some gains.

The other option is human growth horomone, but I wouldn't fuck around with it.
