I think we're going back to the army air corps
Great story tons of details, would read again
We had an exercise this past week, I was in this rotation of classes... we got taught basic hand-to-hand fighting shit. Pressure point shit, beating people with plastic m16s and crap like that.
They said we're going to be soilders first, our jobs second. I have a feeling not many people will be re-enlisting if they keep this up
Maybe theyre tired of bein clowned all the damned time? Either that or id reckon they have found a need for deploying units to have basic hand to hand skills as a just in case type of thing, hell i dunno. Gotta admit tho it is a cool feelin knowin u can break a mans arm/leg/neck with your hands, only part that sux is when u practice on each other , it goes somethin like this "Hey you think that shit really works" " Shit i dunno man lets give it a try " *fist leg hand...SNAP* "OUCH "
I had to practice everything with my supervisor
who is a woman
Pics of supervisor ?
Damn that must suck, bc if shes hot u really want to try something with her but since the slightest "slip" ends w/ you and a dislocated shoulder or some shit, or even worse, on the ground in the fetal position holdin ur nuts. Fuckin torture, if shes hot or had big knockers that is, otherwise its not a probelm id guess, unless they have you mount your opponent and teach basic grappling.
recent air force times mentioned something about turning us all in to security forces type troops.
she's not that great looking though, and it was slightly akward trying to get a pressure point on her collar bone
that's the impression i got too, didn't hear anything about it before this week though. they even simulated a convoy with a shitload of trucks and hummers, i had 'guard' our truck with an m16 on the back while SP's threw firecrackers at us
I think thats what they were, loud as fuck though
Every Airmen a Cop
the OTHER love bone too bad about that whole fraternization thing.
thats the one. didn't really read into it since it was in passing at the shoppette checkout.
You might want to read up on JV2020, and become more familiar with the types of wars/military actions we will be entering into in the future.
Yea I bought that one, I wanted to see what it had to say about the new training
The 3rd Combat Comm Group supported "first in" military units during the first days of the Iraq war. Airmen are riding in Army convoys every day. Airmen can now volunteer to work as Interrogators for the Army. The need for Airmen other than Security Forces to have tactical training is growing rapidly every day, and the days of the Air Force being in the rear with the gear has passed.
Every Combat Comm Group in the Air Force runs a Combat Readiness School. Airmen learn site defense, tactical convoys, sweeps, fire team tactics, and other combat related skills. Teaching Airmen "Army" skills is nothing new, just new to the fly-boys.
Probably a Ground Burst Simulator (GBS) which is a quarter stick of dynamite.
This is true. One of my good buddies is a Combat Comm Officer. I'll be in the back still... AMC Comm sq
Which unit is he with?
i wonder when this stuff will hit us on the flight line
i have still never been taught any kind of personal combat skills, and i've fired a whopping 72 rounds through an M-9 so far. never handled an M-16, and would honestly have no idea what to do if a firefight erupted around me.
Well I'm at phase which is practically flightline, but I don't think anyone on the line itself is doing it. I went through with a bunch of services and CE fucks.
fuck that, the only shit I want to be doing is turning wrenches on aircraft. they can't pay my skinny ass enough to run convoys with all these ied's and shit, i'll get the fuck out
One guy said, and I quote, "You'll put down your wrench and pick up your gun" if someone runs onto the flightline
there's gonna be a lot of dead specs if they try to pass this through
Get the fuck out then, if all you wanted to do was turning wrenches you should of went to a Votech. Just in case you were confused you joined the military.
