    it's suppose to be a drag drop sort script.
    http://www.michelhiemstra.nl/scripts/jsportal/index.php
    source code:
    http://michelhiemstra.nl/scripts/jsportal/jsportal-v2.0.tar.gz

    you need to create a db and insert this:

    Code:
    --
    -- Table structure for table `blocks`
    --

    CREATE TABLE `blocks` (
      `unique_id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
      `block_id` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '',
      `column_id` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '',
      `order_id` int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
      PRIMARY KEY  (`unique_id`)
    ) ENGINE=MyISAM  DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 AUTO_INCREMENT=8 ;

    --
    -- Dumping data for table `blocks`
    --

    INSERT INTO `blocks` VALUES(1, 'block-1', 'column-1', 0);
    INSERT INTO `blocks` VALUES(2, 'block-3', 'column-2', 0);
    INSERT INTO `blocks` VALUES(3, 'block-2', 'column-3', 0);
    INSERT INTO `blocks` VALUES(4, 'block-4', 'column-2', 1);

    once you've done that you have to enter in the credentials for the mysql in both save.php and the get_blocks.php.

    i've done all of this but it's not working for me.

    And why is the AI set to 8?

    Also, why dont you just use the GUI and make the table yourself?

    there is no error displayed it just doesn't work.
    i'm not too sure what you mean by that last question.
    usually i go about things is to make sure that it works and then modify accordingly.

    Since unique_id is set to auto increment, do you really need to include that columns values in the insert statement?

    :dunno:

    Use phpmyadmin to create a table. No need to run the actual mysql statement if you have a gui

    Import works fine here. Do you really need this to be controlled via database? If not it would be easy enough to rewrite without any database interaction..
