I heard that this is one of the most difficult things to do. Standing shoulder width apart rolling it forward fully extended, pausing a couple inches off the ground, then pulling back up. Most people do it on their knees for a ab workout.

I think I used to do that as you described it.
Was a killer on the lowerback.
For abs, right? Starting off in the beginning of a pushup position but gripping the wheel and then letting the wheel slide until your arms are straight above your head.

I do 3 sets of 10 from my knees during my ab workout...

Probably no way in hell I could do it from my feet.

I'd guess that makes it harder.

    Yeah.
Considering the relative length of the lever being longer or further, ape like proportions are a disadvantage.

I think it takes a combination of muscles including the abs, back, shoulders etc...

Yea if you can do this correctly trance I would be impressed. I've seen 10 guys fail in a row and plop right on their bellys.

Yea, they were regular cats. Im just curious to see how the gymheads do.

Tize- I think I know exactly what youre talking about. Its like a push up with your arms fully extended out. Supposedly if you master the wheel, you will be able to do the plank.

I had the wheel for awhile but gave it to a friend.
Just tried the plank now, if I did it right. It was a lil hard but nothing I'd necesserily be impressed about. Killer on my elbow though for some weird reason.

I have the wheel, it's hard for a week then the arms get sore way before the abs do.

I just may... one day. :big grin:
Asked someone at the gym to try it and he did. Not sure if we're doing it right though cause of the way some of you talk about it.
I did it with one arm as well though arm was slightly bent but still way above my head.
