    Any electricians out there?

We are currently using several Tripp-Lite Internet Office 300 UPS Systems to provide interim power protection for computer and scientific equipment used in a data acquisition workstation setup.

The Internet Office 300 devices are plugged into ground-fault interupt (GFI) wall outlets. The GFI circuit often trips for no obvious reason and we are trying to determine the cause. Our electrician has suggested that the UPS might be contributing to the problem being that GFI circuits are extremely sensitive to changes in power levels.

Yep, GFI's are really sensitive. You can get regular outlets at home depot really cheap and change them out yourself.....make sure the power is off!
