This happens about 1 out of 100 pictures, what is wrong?
wow, i'd say camera. what gear? also what settings? does it do it on just one particular setting or on any of them?
I've only noticed it on the Auto setting, it's a D50.

Saw the same problem last week... The woman was using a 350D and a Hoodman 1GB CF... basically.. it's the card. Get it replaced.
Wow i've never seen that happen with digital. Hope and pray that the problem is just your card.

I get the same problem on my Canon bodies (it happens on all 3 so it's the memory card). For me, usually it occurs only once every ~ 1000 shots so it's not too bad.
