Video bags camera bags Kata - Manufacturer of camera bags

    Kata HB-207.

I am able to fit my
    70-200VR II,
    14-24 f/2.8 attached to my gripped D700,
    85mm F/1.4,
    35mm f/2,
    Nikon F2s+50mm f/1.4 attached,
    Olympus OM10+50mm f/1.4 attached,
    SB800+difuser
    2x77mm filters (cpl/ND)
16xAA batteries, and a couple of the small batteries for my film cams
    battery charger for the D700
    portable HDD
    FW800 CF reader
2 fire wire cables for the card reader and HDD
    MacBook Pro 15"
    charger for laptop
    USB mouse
    bag's rain cover
And my tripod attached to the outside.

And still lots of room for other stuff...
    passport airline tickets
    CF cards
    lens cleaners and cloth
    iPhone+cable
    chap stick
    eye drops
    few extra rolls of film.

I think im set for my trip over seas. I should mention its a good bag for transporting.. It has awesome amount of padding and straps if i wanted to go back packing with it... but its a shit ton of gear when i only need a few things when walking around touring.

Kata bags just always seem overdone to me. Too many straps or clips or zippers...

You pack too heavy. All you need is a rangefinder and some HP5.
