Now I am really weighted toward this design. I drew the logo myself in Illustrator so it's not copied off anything.

Also keep in mind I have a very contemporary style - and I want to portray that. In any case - this is for my consulting business. I mainly focus on brand communication, PR work, etc. Don't mind my website if you go to it from the card, it's not fully set up yet. It's set up for contact information purposes only really.

In any case - what are your thoughts? I'm questioning the back of the card where I have "Phone" and "Email" Etc. Because it's obvious. Do you think I should omit that information and just have the numbers and addresses and not the descriptions?

I'm going to be having Taste of Ink printing them with rounded corners. no spot-gloss anywhere.

Let me know your thoughts. :)

Love the front, real simple... and love the 'notes' section on the back. :coold:

    love it. absolutely gorgeous.

    one thing i'd change.

    make the url www.nicholasputz.com

    2 reasons

    1) Ads for websites most often have www.xyz.com. It's natural.

    2) It will extend the text to give a symmetrical feel. 1st and 4th line will be close in length. 2nd and 3rd and close in length

Good point! Thanks for that. Appreciate the comments. I'm really loving the feel of the card.

What do you think about brightening up the notes section slightly more? I think it's at 65% opacity right now. Just enough to still show the leather perforations.

i think it looks good now. just a hair dimmer than the lettering on the left. too bright and it takes attention away

Since I do run my photography through this business, do you think it would be wise to have a link to my www.artbynicholas.com site as well under the first domain?

1 domain. pick the more important one, then have a link on that domain to your other

Good idea. I like that. I'll just have to make some time and devote it to a mildly interactive and informative website now. :)

The hard part for me is conceptualizing the design. Beyond that - once I have the look it's all down hill.

You guys don't think the notes section is overall cheesy?

hell no. I purposely left half of the back of my cards blank, for this exact purpose. Most useful part of the business card yet. I'm ALWAYS writing stuff down for people. It's great.

just make sure you use it. people love the personal touch of handwritten notes, whether they know it or not.

The font used on the contact details needs to be changed. Your logos font is a nice "squared off" font...whereas the font used for the contact details is a little "ovaled off" if you know what I'm getting at. It doesn't feel like that font belongs on that card.

Just my 2 cents. Other than that, looks great!
