Friend owns a cherry 92 Formy Firebird....Every bolt-on possible.....The instant torque from the 305 is pretty incredible. Plus the exhaust with longtubes and no cats sounds like exploding fetuses.
we laugh now, those cars will be collectable in less than 10 years.
even though they will forever have the stigma of mullets associated with them
I would love a 92 Camaro with the 1LE package and an LS1/6speed swap.
but at the end of the day its still a shitty 305
If you change your mind and want an LS1, let me know.
make sure you are getting at least a iroc-z 87-90 and a z28 91-92.
You dont want an RS with a V6 or TBI V8, you want a TPI 350 V8.
I have one myself that I am completing a restore on.
I am building a motor for it right now, ZZ4 short block, Holley Stealth Ram, Trick Flow Heads, Edelbrock shorty headers, LT4 hot cam, MSD Ignition, some other shit....

ive only got a 305. but it was a blast when it was still running good. i havent drivin it in almost 3 years though. it doesnt look as good as this pic. paint is beat and theres some rust too.

Stay away from the TBI 305.
TPI 305 > TPI 350
