I'm just curious for those of you who keep track. How do you have your macro's split, and why?

    For about 9 months I did a 40/40/20 split (P/C/F), now I'm doing a 40/30/30 (P/C/F) to try something different.

as much protein as possible, fewest carbs as possible.

300+ protein, ~100 carbs, whatever fat

I still think you're eating waaay too much.
But then I'm not taking into account your activity level....

anyway....currently experimenting with 250g protein/ 200g carbs and like Maine...fat makes up the rest depending on my caloric goal....which I'm aiming for 2800 this week.

At the moment my split is usually looking like 200g protein, 65g fat, 150g carbs.

This usually tends to look like: 45/30/25

As long as protein stays at or above 40% and carbs stays at or under 30% I am usually pretty good.

thats not really very high. I used to eat 4000 when i wanted to put on weight fast.

Now 3000 seems to be maintenance level.. well, maybe not maintenance, but i havn't put on much weight at 185lbs on 3000 calories.
