So if a stick of gum has say

    10 calories
    2 carbs
    2g sugar

Is that if you chew it or swallow it?

So if it's chew, how bad is it to swallow?
If it's swallow how much better is it to chew?

The only things you can drink are water, green tea, tea, some coffee and small amounts of Crystal Light.

DO NOT use gum, not even sugar-free gum since each piece has 2g of carbs.

BTW, I forgot to mention that the only condiments/flavoring you can use are:

    - vinegar
    - salt
    - pepper
    - spices

    No sauces, ketchup, mustard, etc.

    Good info!

Back in the day I was uninformed and frequently used ketchup on my double-cheeseburgers and french fries and put on like 15lbs of fat. Who knew a tomato product could ruin your diet like that :wtc:

it depends how hard your dieting....

having a piece of gum now and then wont kill you...

and yes you get those calories just by chewing, but also keep in you actually burn 11 calories an hour more by chewing gum

(so say trident white 2 pieces = >5 calories, chew 1 hour, burn more than 6 calories in long run)

    Oh ya...

...has the same types of sweetner in it as sugar free gum, therefore if your allowing yourself small amounts of this, why not a piece of gum every now and then

 I'd recognize the t-physique stuff anywhere.

    Original poster:
It depends on how hard you're counting calories. If the stick has 10 calories, assume that's what you're taking in.

    Hey, nothing wrong with Mustard.

According to Calorie-count.com, there are 0 calories in French's Classic Yellow Mustard, vs 225 calories per cup of Ketchup..

That being said, Ketchup is disgusting anyway.

I know it kind of turned into a joke. I really don't count calories THAT meticulously.

I was just curious if anyone knew the answer. It's been plaguing me for days.

Besides it seemed more fun to ask here than google it.
