What are your numbers for snatch, c&j, front/back squat and bodyweight?

Also how much can you overhead press ?

I do power cleans in my back day and finished with 65kgx5 last saturday and I can front squat more than that but I was putting a couple in amongst the reps.

Last time I did fronts I was doing around 100kgx10 but that would've dropped so you can disregard it if you like.

Are you asking for numbers to get a comparison for yourself? I'm just wondering because I doubt the numbers will be that useful since I know that my form isn't optimal for moving max weight especially compared to someone like yourself that is trained. /excuse j/k

I personally can't get the thrust right, the bar seems to get my goolies every time I try. Any tips?

    snatch - never tried.
    clean - 165x4
squat - haven't done in a long time
    front squat - 185x3
    overhead press- 135 I guess.
    bw - 160

I train in 3's, haven't maxed out in a while. Got 315 up pretty clean, my attempt at 325 on CJ wasn't very pretty. I'm newer to the whole olympic lifting thing, so flexibility is becoming more of a concern than strength

    205 x 3 snatch

    275 x 3 clean and jerk

    495 x 3 back box squat

    275 x 3 standing OH press

    high 270's body weight

    yeah thanks :bigthumb:

was just curious as to the general population and whatnot - seems over here that in the gym there are quite a few people that although their technique blows, they can get some decent numbers , but i was more curious about the bodyweight : max ratio

    thanks again

    Power snatch (can't do full) - 135 x 2
    C&J - 185x1
    Body - 205lb, 6'4"

Overhead press? Haven't maxed on standing OH press, usually do about 95lbs for a bunch of reps. I can seated dumbell press the 65s for about 3 reps.

its pretty clear that a heavy back squat doesnt carry over that well to cleans. also front squatting is alot different do to the eccentric portion of the lift which is there when theres normally not in the clean especially if youre catching it at rock bottom. have you all ever seen front squats off pins at the bottom? id think thatd be a pretty good exercise, no stretch reflex helping, no bounce, etc.

yeah, squatting off the pins is incredibly difficult.. i was squatting, had to dump the weight, waited a few minutes, got back under and tried to come up with it.. didn't wanna budge.. no spring to the hips to help :(

I'll try snatches tomorrow. When I clean 95 I can almost "snatch" it so I'm guessing 95 should be doable.

I hate doing less than 135... just 'cause I need to bend over further to pick the weight up (especially with a snatch grip) :hs:

i find these numbers the most interesting..

111kg oh press ? is this a push press we're talking about or a strict no leg drive press?
