fuck them and their constant adding of trophies with these packs. i was one mission away from completeing the game on veteran and getting the platinum trophy for the game and then they added 10 more for the 2nd map pack.

interesting......... I mostly like the mappacks for the zombie maps, I don't think I really like any of the maps from the map packs as much as the classic rotation....... pack a punch machine sounds sorta cool though, I wonder how that'll help

To bad this is the only thing that treyarch has trumped infinity ward on with the call of duty series.

pretty sure you get platinum with only getting all the original trophies. in RE5 for example i got 85% completion, but i have the platinum trophy. i didnt buy the DLC pack for it.

Treyarch is just trying to milk the game for all it's worth before Modern Warfare 2 comes out and everyone forgets what the phrase "Nazi Zombies" even means.

so much treyarch hate. i can understand of they were sucking ass but they're doing really well right now. they made a great game with cod5 and cod7 will probably great too if they keep it up.

    I hope they don't get CoD 7.

All their games have been failures IMO. Sure they sold enough copies to make it worthwhile but from a fan's perspective they completely ignored us.

In fact their failure is ironically WHY MW2 will be such a huge hit. After CoD4 the public wanted more modern weapons and realism. Sorry but no matter how nice your graphics and gameplay are, using WWII era weapons isn't "realistic" anymore. All their lame throwback game did was increase the hunger for a real modern warfare game. So kudos on the strategy. Looks like Infinity Ward delivered and has yet again, saved the series from "meh".

Gamers want to play with either cutting edge futuristic weaponry or weapons battle that put you in the shoes of our men and women fighting over seas right now.

These lazy game developers have milked WWII to death. Time to milk the war on terror.

    wtf is this?

MW2 will be a huge hit just because its different. WaW was a huge hit because it was executed perfectly, even though it was back in WWII. If MW2 was a shitty game, people would jack off to it because of how good MW1 was.

Your username describes yourself very perfectly

World at War was a great game and in many ways it improved upon the things that were wrong with COD4.

*Multiplayer had 2 nades instead of 4, no way for you to get 4 noob tubes which dramatically reduced nade/splosion spam.
*Maps were also a lot bigger which made more of the weapons useful and made multiplayer a lot more fun imo.
*Four player coop (something COD6 won't even have btw)
*Less infinite spawning enemies in campaign
*Post-game support (3 map packs, glitch fixing, what?? there are still map pack glitches which were discovered before the first map pack on COD4!)

And complaining about "realism"?? Really? You think a game where you DROP A NADE ON THE FLOOR AFTER YOU DIE or get shot in the neck and fall to the floor where you can spin around with your pistol and perfect aim is realistic? LOLLLL OK
