I was going to order some crap off anafit, and was curious if anyone had any recommendations for BF calipers which included decent instructions for measurements, calculations and all that jazz.

I do it at my gym,. You sure they don't have it at your gym?Unless it is some ghetto rec center or your basement, I'd think they would have some calipers. Anyways, I just bought the one daneeyah mentioned from ebay for $9.00 shipped.

i've used the ones from fat track (the anafit ones).. my roommate has them. they work pretty good.. calipers arent always accurate.. water retention, time of day, specific fat storage locations vary from person to person, etc..

They're good to measure progress though. I wouldn't be confident enough to ge an actual body fat percentage from them, but if you are pinching 13mm and then 2 months later you're pinching 10mm, it's likely that you've lost fat (as long as the mirror agrees!)

I do it with the fat tracker II calipers. The key is to be consistent with the way you test.
