I think it's... bizarre. Not hideous, just odd looking.
Looks like a good excuse to reject communism and its evil ways and move to a real state.
EDIT: The 30rd mag is probably either illegal or will be soon.
I like the looks though.
10 rounds and a fixed mag
You have to have fixed mags in Cali? I thought it was a ten round limit but they could be removable.
you're right, unless there is a pistol grip
I have a CX4 carbine...sexy.
Theres so many better choices for .223...
Are you sure? I know that the Hi-Point carbine isn't legal, and it has a pistol grip.
Ca legal Ar15s have an internal fixed mag too. At least the ones I've seen do.
At least someone is willing to make a rifle for the people that are unfortunate enough to live in that state.
as for CA law:
If you have any evil features (P grip, forward P grip, flash supressor, collapsing stock, thumbhole stock) then you have to have a fixed magazine that is 10 rounds or less. However, if you DONT have any evil features, then you can have detach mags of any size.
It's like a more accurate and reliable mini14.
more like its an AR with a perfectly safe stock.
You read all the description of the rifle? it also saves the kittens.
As for CA legal black rifles without fixed mags:
Just read it. And you need to replace the eek sticker with one of the new zombie ones.
I think the only down side would be operating the safety.
well, I leave it bolt closed on an empty chamber with the hammer down, so when I take it out it is easy to check if it has been messed with (if you can flip the safety to safe, then you have a problem). And at the range I only use the safety when teaching people how to shoot it, other wise I just use the bolt hold open. I really don't find the safety to be a problem.
That is so heinous.
But I'm glad you've got an AR into hell.
on the other hand, 30 seconds with a flathead screwdriver and I have a free america AR
I figure when the zombies come, I'll have enough time to switch over
Could they get you in trouble for having the real pgrip? Like, intent to commit posession of an illegal ebr or some shit? I think it'd be pretty easy to hide one.
nope, no constructive possesion clause.
well not of any size, we're still limited to 10 rounds. arn't we?
not if you *ahem* "found" *ahem* some mags that you had prior to y2k
. on both points.
I really do feel bad for you CA gun lovers.
My M1A is about as "evil" as i'm going to get in this state ...and it doesn't even have a standard magazine
I do like that gun though.
