Im gonna be in So Cal next week for work, whats the laws on carrying a knife concealed?
better carry some lube too for when johnny law and his buddies go ass pirate on your cornhole
Under 3". No switch blades, or butterfly knives
As long as you have a folder you're good.
Don't conceal a fixed-blade, that's instant felony.
Under 2" is fine for auto knives etc, but honestly what's the point?
A standard 3"-ish folder, clipped in your pocket, will be completely fine, unless you run into a cop who knows about some obscure local ordinance and is determined to fuck you over.
Odds are, that won't happen. Most cops aren't worried about a folding knife clipped into your pocket, as long as you don't go suddenly reaching for it or anything.
Stick to a standard Spyderco, Cold Steel, CRKT, Benchmade (not Bali-Song though), et al. and you'll have no problems.
I doubt anyone will even notice it.
cali is so fucked you have to worry about pocket knives?
We can't CC for the most part in CA, but atleast we dont NEED to CC because of how shitty a place we live in.
wow CA crew standing up for their state. This is a good trend.
ok I was really drunk when I wrote this. I apologize.
I never said this place wasn't a shithole.
thats not the point...
WA > CA
As long as it is a folding blade, I do not believe there is any regulation on its size.
texas is also high on my list
i've lived all over the east cost and south east and just hate it
the PNW is so green and peaceful
This may vary according to local ordinances. And as long as it's not an auto-opener, gravity knife, bali-song, etc.
I carry a Benchmade 9050 daily and live in IL and have never had an issue. Although I dont pull it out in front of every cop I see though
