    for a reasonable price...
    MSRP: $3500
add in tax, lic. and whatever else, it'll be close to $4k otd.

so far i've been quoted $4500-5000k otd... which is bat shit insane...

anyone know of shops in the central valley/bay area/norcal with reasonable prices that have them in stock?

i look online and california seems to be the place where we're getting raped, buy it in texas or jersey and it's under $4k otd, but it in bay area, you're bent over...

    any ideas or help?

    +1

And you can't bring non-CA bikes into CA, so going out of the state for new streetbikes is out of the question.

OTD Cyclesports down here has great prices, even on rare bikes. :dunno But don't let the service department anywhere near your bike...

yeah, my baseline is OTD bikes...
their current otd pricing is $4500, which is basically $500 markup on a $3500 bike...
I'm trying to shoot for the $4-4,200 mark...

i hear their service is great though... just wish they'd drop the price a hair... and I wish these damn bikes were in stock at any dealership

    :hs:

    i've watched some threads already...
best option is down in LA area... but between gas/trailer rental/shipping fees, it defeats the purpose...

on every website/forum i've been, texas and other southern states seem to have them in stock and at under $4,000 otd...

california on the other hand... :wtc:

one of the very few times i'll say texas > cali...

LA Cyclesports is the one I was thinking of. They're stupid cheap but I've literally never ever heard of someone going to their service department and coming out with a perfectly functioning motorcycle. I bought my 675 there for a great price and when I brought it in for a recall, they had a) put 4 quarts of oil in it (it takes 3), b) underfilled the radiator c) not put any water wetter in it and d) done something weird to the thing to make it vibrate. I still haven't found out what it was.

I think that's the cycle shop I read about that has them for msrp +ttl with no markups... but yeah, driving all the way down there, getting a trailer + gas or truck + gas and drving all the way back, I'll barely end up saving anything...

oh well... guess it's the waiting game :hs:
