When I run or jump rope, i get this dull pain under the inner part of my calf. I tried stretching the gastroc and soleus, but dont see a difference. Also tried foam rolling with no avail.
It hurts around the circled area:

I deal with it all the time at work if I'm being cheap and my boots start to wear out. the impact of bailing off of/ jumping onto a moving train and running on ballast ( the rock used to support the track/ties). The pain will start where yours is at, then creeps around into the front of my shin then spreads up into my knee. Ill go get a set of insoles or a new pair of boots and in like two days it's totally gone until I wear out another pair of boots lol
