I'm really enjoying the state of mma right now. Its a fringe sport that is seeing rapid growth and success that is forcing sports analysts and writers to at least dabble and create opinions regarding it.

So far I haven't been impressed by anyone in the mass media attempting to show expertise in the sport.

Mike wilbon from espn's pti spoke about Randy and said that he won't be impressed until Randy takes out rampage. :ugh:

Jim Rome admitted that he's a newcomer and a bit late to the mma bandwagon but gave props to the toughness of the mma fighter versus the boxer. But then he went all lame and tried to drop names of moves "the dreaded armbar" or "the guillotine" as things the boxer should fear.

I  how grassroots the sport still is that the cage has better analysts and fight breakdown than any mass media outlet.

I'd rather Humungus, Teh Awesome, and that other douchebag be the analysts.

Its not really so much your face, its the fact that the camera doesn't point low enough to get you in frame.

    You mean suboptimal?

I don't think that trio would work that well, they all seem to go in the same direction.

I'd pick checkii since he loves to debate everything.
    Teh awesome! for obvious reasons.
And lastly The Ripper since he always says things that get a rise out of checkii, yet he always falls for the shit that tehawesome says.

Sometimes it's hard to avoid the forums. The titles just pull me in and before I know it I'm involved in a clusterfuck

Saying that Randy needs to take out rampage is such an erroneous statement that I wouldn't know where to begin to argue it.
First they are in entirely different weightclasses. Obviously Randy no longer feels comfortable making that weight cut. Rampage has a plate of work in front of him called the 205div and a huge test of redemption in what should be a war against hendo.

The ufc has very little interest in a fighter being champ of two weight classes. Titles currently get put on the line 2-3 times a year now, with a fighter holding two belts for 2 weights they would only have 1 fight at each weight every 12 months.

    Stupid stupid wilbon and espn.
