For my first tourney. I'll be in Carson for the Pan Ams March 28th. Anyone else going to be there? I'm super nervous, going to be training a lot the next week.

I'll be there. Don't treat it like a super big deal (aka don't get freaked out by the size/turnout). Focus on YOUR mat, YOUR coach, and YOUR game. Everything is just extra.

train at ralph gracie's academy...white belt adult. I don't expect to make it too far, but I'm combining it with a trip to disneyland with the gf so it won't be a waste. Actually, I just want to learn and get used to competing, so I'm fine. Wish the registration fee wasn't so steep tho.

The instructor at my academy is a 7-time pan am winner. Ryan gracie blackbelt. I think I'm going to stick around and watch the rest of the guys compete, I'll be going on friday tho.
