caffeine

    anyone here taking in caffeine?

    if so, what kind/type and what time(s) of the day?
    how effective is it to you?
    great supplement for pre-workout?

    1 tab (200mg I think) when I wake up and 1 around noon. I just use it to stay awake through calculus. Works well.

    I take 48mg early in the morning and it lasts all day. That's in a pill. I could drink all the coffee, tea, and soda I want and it won't do a thing fo rme.

    1) you are an extreme lytew8.
    2) you are taking way more than 48mg
    3) placebo

    i take about 300mg a day (100mg caps) spaced out.

    200mg in the morning prior to lifting and 100mg after lunch.

    When I frist started taking it it gave me the jitters like nothing else. Now, it doesnt phase me one bit. If anything I do notice some better concentration at the gym. That's all.

    Like definatly dont take it late after noon or evening. Your ass will be up all night. lol

    48mg is about the same as what soda has in it. Whenever I take Vivarin (200mg) it only lasts about 4 hours. It might be that the yerba mate pills that I take has other stuff in it that works for me. :dunno:
