Caffeine does nothing for me...anyone else on the same boat?

    I'm going to start an EC stack soon, but I'm wondering if I should even take the caffeine.

    I don't think caffeine has ever had an effect on me...when I was younger (17-19) it actually made me sleepy. It doesn't make me tired now, but I don't feel any more energetic and my resting heart rate goes unchanged (this is with 200mg "Jet-Alert" caps).

    I've had pseudoephedrine (Claritin D-12) and that definitely gets me going...will the caffeine still have a synergistic effect or should I not bother?

    makes me sleep after 20 minutes but I also use to put a ton of sugar in there. That could have been the cause

    Caffeine does very little unless I get a tremendous amount, I feel like theres no "medium" for me and caffeine, I can take a 200mg cap maybe more and not feel anything, then I will drink a tall cup of very heavy espresso and go into panic mode and feel very paranoid/jittery and sick the next day. I dont bother with it.

    Just because it doesn't make you more awake doesn't mean that it doesn't increase your heart beat and help you burn more calories. I don't see any reason to leave it out.

    try 400mg caffeine instead of 200

    My resting heart rate doesn't change either. I've measured it prior to the 200mg caffeine, 30 minutes later, 1 hour later, and 2 hours later. No noticeable change.

    I'll give it a go.

    I'm in the same boat. EC stack did nothing for my energy but I still lost a bunch of weight.

    I took 400mg about 30 minutes ago. I felt a little rush about 5 minutes ago, but now it's gone :hs:

    So is it worth stacking EC for the synergistic effect or should I just take E by itself?

    I'm not on any thermogenics. I just started taking the caffeine two days ago.

    There is actually one thing that 400mg has done for me: I've pooped twice in the past hour since taking it, which is not a good thing.

    And since 400 mg is more or less the maximum daily dose that one should take...

    So i assume then that caffiene is the one thing that we're going to avoid upping the dose on?

    Ive done a gram in a day before, and doing 6-800mg a day isnt uncommon

    So about 3 hours after I took the 400mg, my hands were shaky, but nothing else. I didn't feel very energetic other than the inability to keep my hands from shaking.

    400 mg is like drinking 3-4 cups of coffee so for most people, it can be considered as "upping the dose".
    On a side note, I don't think that most people here really give a fuck about the recommended things to do (eat/drink or anything). IMO, I don't give a damn about people following the guidelines unless you're a pregnant woman.

    You guys aren't taking enough. 200mg really isn't much caffeine at all.
