ls6 in a caddy huh.. what will they think of next..

50k is too much to pay though, thats like a $20k engine package over the base model. when a ls6 crate motor only costs 6k.. i could buy a crate motor and drop it in with all the brackets and stuff and probably save 5k.

Great idea, now Caddy just needs to improve the current POS CTS. I'm not a big fan of the styling but the performance more than makes up for it. Can't wait to see it go against the S4 and C32.

True, but a fully loaded CTS will run about $40k, then add the $6k LS6 engine, 6 speed transmission, upgraded rims and suspension and you can see how they got $50k

Not to bash the M5 which is a great car, but what do they charge for that thing? $70-80k??

Thats at least a $10k premium over a fully loaded 5 series.

Very exciting, I can't wait to see some road test results for the new driveline and suspension combo the car features.

and what type of warranty does that come with?

Personally if I was rich enough to spend 50K on a car all that hassle wouldn't be worth 5K

They are improving the performance of the current CTS, but I love the styling of the CTS.

Yeah, a shootout between the next S4, the C32 and CTS-V would be sweet.

Hahahah I just picked up my Autoweek 5 seconds ago and I saw little blurb on the CTS getting the new 3.6L engine. Not a bad improvement I guess but I was expecting slightly higher figures out of a larger displacement engine.
