    So I have tried doing these in the past and just stop because no matter what weight I use I don't feel it. I can put 170 and go at it for 12 reps and do not feel a thing. How the fuck are you supposed do them? (ibexrxlink which has been totally useless in the past)

    :dunno: focus on using your abs to pull the weight down, not ur arms

    also mess around with the distance you're sitting from the rope

    some days i can feel it good, some days not. try doing other ab exercises beforehand and do that last

    try them kneeling. i find they work a lot harder when kneeling.

    do them kneeling, slightly lighter weight, and try to keep your pelvis tilted forward so that your abs are "stacked" on top of each other. It won't necessarily feel like its working them as well, but it works the abs more and the hip flexors less. (think of it as if you are doing a crunch, as opposed to a full set up).

    Or you can just do the ab wheel and destroy every other ab workout.

    It's all a matter of form. Adjust till you feel it. Personally, standing ab work done with the right form smokes my abs more than anything.

    alternate standing and kneeling. i usually do 4-5 sets with 20 reps each set.
