LG Motorpsorts did a test on one with 55 miles on the motor and it pulled 441.9rwhp/412.3rwtq. Not too shabby.

Makes me feel happy in my pants about my old Supra's dyno numbers (~430rwhp, 440rwtq), and how they compare to the new Z06. The C6 however has raised the bar on so many levels for what a modern sportscar should be.

my car: 70rwhp per liter, 75rwtq per liter (322rwhp/345rwtq in NA 4.6 with very few mods)

    new c6 Z06: 63rwhp/liter, 58.9rwtq/liter

2005 mustang gt > c6 z06 in ANY category? :mamoru:
yes the c6 would rape me straight line, around a turn, in looks, performance, build quality, and probably engine life the way i drive, but i thought it was interesting

Well I am sure that the Z06 has most of the power where it is readily available as opposed to the supra that probably got its last 100rwhp right before redline.

Well you sure do have the "gotta have it factor" which puts you ahead of everything.

GM could easily have put a larger cam in the z06 if they wanted to make more power, they left valve relief in the piston

From what I understood, the ramp rates on those cams are pretty steep.
They worked long and hard to make that much streetable power.
They could go with a hotter cam, but then it wouldn't run as well around town.
