C Sharp Vs C++

    Which should I learn?... I don't really know the difference besides the fact that C++ came out later.

    lol, don't learn either since you can't figure out which one came out first. If you are going to learn C Sharp, I would reccomend learning some JAVA first as the concepts can EASILY port to c sharp.

    You mean definitely and assembly right?? :ugh2:

    It really doesn't matter what language you start on (well it does as long as it's OOP). Personally I started with C++, went to Java, PHP (for work), then finally C# to become a MS SQL Server 2008 SSIS "guru".

    depends what the industry in your area is in.

    you can go either way in DC, depending on your experience java may pay a bit more - but i think the c# jobs are slightly more available than java

    c#/java are pretty much "the same" syntax wise, it is just understanding packages and how to put shit together
