    What all should I get?

I already have an M1 Garand.

    i'm thinking of getting:
    Mauser G43
    SVT-40
    M1 Carbine (from CMP)
    Egyptian Hakim

what else should I be looking at? :dunno:

SVT-40s are nice and really piss off hunters come season.

I love my G43s, but I defintely wouldnt buy one if I was looking for something to shoot all the time.

My uncle out in AZ has like 2 G43s. One early prod, the other late war, I told him if he ever decides to sell them to contact me.
Id love a G43 or an SVT 40, but the prices are a bit high for me right now. Maybe if I work full time this summer I can save up for an SVT40. I would defeinitely love shooting a semi auto rifle for .10 a pop

SKS's are getting harder to find, especially Yugo's. If you are going to get one I'd do it in the near future.

Yugos are hard to find? Theyre the easiest to get around here. Thats about all the SKS's you ever see at the gun show here
I did the opposite, I had to look around to find a Norinco one.
I like them more than the Yugos

Yeah parts can definately be a bitch. There ar people out there working on re-pop parts. But they're not quite 100% and sometimes need modifications to work.

I usually buy replacement original G-43 stuff whenever I see it for sale.

I'd get an SVT-40. They're fun unique guns and can still be had at reasonable prices. Besides, in a way you'll still have a G-43 somewhat beith the Germans stole the gas design from it to apply it towards the G43.

yugo's are the easiest to find, and the ones i'd avoid the most.

Not anymore, most of the major importers are out of them and there are no more on the way. :hs:

why not get a Romanian PSL then? AK action + accurate as long as you are not rambo + cheap as fuck ammo = winnar.

Hell, if I lived in a free state, that would be the only rifle I owned. But as it is, the fucking grabbers pushed me into ARs, AKs, etc.

If you have the money you could always get something like a Reising model 50 or a Johnson 1941.

Aside from the SKS though my next choice would definitely be an SVT40, it looks great, is supposed to shoot even better and you cant beat the price of 7.62x54r ammo.
