I have a M44 But the 91/30 is interesting. Does the ex sniper mean the rcv is drilled for a mount with a turn down bolt?

I don't know about amazing deals but I'd get a k31. The prices seem to be going up and its the most well built c&r I own.

I'll be taking pics of 1 of my 3 to sell later today :big grin:

The reciever is drilled for a sidemount but the holes are usually plugged. Bolts are straight.

More pics, high and low res, at http://cyber-byte.com/beech1

Say $170 + whatever the actual UPS rates are to your place, probably like $10-15.

Its a 1950 beech stock, I've stripped it down and refinished it. Dents were steamed out but no reshaping of the stock was done, I took a different path than most and did an undercoating with several layers of tru-oil as a long term durable waterproofer, on top of that I put amber shellac for proper color and historical accuracy. Worn blued pieces were also cold blued with oxpho-blue.

Thanks! Here's where I'm going to reveal that I'm an evil puppy killing non-purist....I don't like shellac. It may be historically accurate and the coating that should be on the gun but it just has a look and texture I don't love as much. My other 2 k31's got just a tru-oil treatment and I really like them better although the color is probably nicer with shellac. I've always heard the purists say that using polyurethane on a gun is the most evil thing you can do to a c&r but I'm thinking I might even try it sometime!
