I started going to the LA C# Conventions around this time last year but after a few months I realized it was just a bunch of old guys getting together and practicing bad coding practices. I need to find nerds to hang out with.

C# has it's place in the industry and holds it's weight, just like [insert super cool l33t programming language] that all you sackriders grip onto because you read a book in college.

No kidding, I think everyone who wants to set out to be a programmer should be forced to learn C before anything else. Its a real language, even java has so many failsafes that its hard to see some of the reasons things are the way they are.

That might not have made sense to anyone but the people who know C and what malloc is, but at least they will understand.
