snapshot? any of him in motion?
better, the first one looked like some dude just standing in a creek
That's an awesome valve wheel in the second photo. Too bad that asshole had to wakeboard right through the middle of your shot.
It means it looks like somebody just grabbed a P&S and took a snapshot, and that on a OTAP C&C level, it is one step above leaving your lens cap on.
Canon 20D with a shitty kit lens
Thought about each
#1 would look better if it were taken from a lower angle, with more room on the bottom of the frame between his boots and the edge.
#2 would be a decent action shot but that wheel/valve in the middle of the frame just ruins it. Way too distracting, try to think about things like that when composing your pictures.
I was standing in water and couldnt go any farther. No excuse I know
#1, the waterfall is lost in this angle. Should have been shot from below the waterfall to better explain what was actually about to happen. Also having the rope in hand with the line tight would look better.
#2 Like Mutumbo said. The wheel does nothing but detract from the shot. You should have leaned over it, or shot prone on the deck, or down in the water between the deck and the falls. As a matter of fact, tucked down in that corner to the right, you could have went wide, moved in closer, and shot upwards with the falls framing the right hand side of the shot and hopefully the rider in air on the left.
1st pic looks like homeboy is pissing in the lake, and an old creeper looking dude is watching
