    Mediocre shot with worse processing. When you desaturated the picture you have no idea what's going on in the mess that is the half-focused background. You don't have a shallow enough DOF to kill the BG but it's also too shallow to make sense. The subject is also looking completely away from the camera, if you want to do that go profile or looking at what he's looking at from behind.

    It's just a really visually frustrating frame to look at.

    I'm not as annoyed at the composition on this shot, but these are good suggestions. the PP could definitely use some more work though.

    Look at your horizon. Rather than being perfectly level, it's angled by about 3*. Straighten that up so your horizon is straight.
