Went to the Atlanta Zoo with my girlfriend the other day. Snapped a few pics, let me know what you think. These are some of my favorites.

^On this one it looks like my AF focused on the rock as opposed to the lion, but I still think it was pretty neat.

I'd prefer specific things per picture (even if its only a few). Its more helpful for you to tell me things you like or do not like about a specific picture as opposed to saying "they all suck" or "they are good." - Tell me what you like or don't like. :bigok:

I think I like it focused on the rock better than I would if it had focused on the lion

makes the lion look nice against the bokeh.. almost like a painting or something

The rock instead of the lion being in focus really ruins what would be a nice capture. As well whatever lens you're using produces a very unflattering bokeh.

Some more interesting angles would really help to.

Its a nikkor 18-200 lens, what are my options as far as getting rid of the bokeh? I've noticed it but never had any ideas how to fix it.

also, i agree on the lion pic, i wish it had come out in focus, but first of all it was shot through glass (only way i could see the lion) and i didn't really have any time to compose the shot, it was just a snapshot that came out good. i still like it as is too.

    Me too. :)

if u want to eliminate the bokeh than close the aperture a lot. but i dont think that would help. its just a distracting background with all the trees to begin with.

There's really nothing you can do about it.

I'd have a hard time not putting one of those at junk-hight and doing pelvic thrusts.
