    Just got my 50mm in and I decided to take some pics. Click on it for fullsize, exif is in image. Nothing special, just a picture of a tree by my driveway.

    love the saturation and contrast....dof is nice too...but i don't know...its just a tree so what can i say about composition. good though

    I can dig it...

    maybe bump the ap a little to get all of the branch in the DOF but I like it :bigthumb:

    Pretty boring subject, which makes for a boring photo. IMO, of course.

    Yep, insanely boring subject. I literally picked up this 50mm less than an hour before that and I wanted to see the DOF it is capable of. I went up to a few objects that could display the sharpness and DOF capabilities, and I thought the tree was the best candidate.
