I have a user running fully updated XP 64 on a brand new HP Z400 workstation that gets an error that states their local profile cannot be loaded when they attempt to use Remote Desktop. We are using non-domain local profiles. The exact problem they are having is documented in this post from 2005 on the Microsoft user groups. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/146366-45-cannot-load-profile-remote-desktop-xp64

The errors that are logged in order are

I have found some documentation referring to some of these error codes that talks about this kind of problem on Server 2003 if it is on a domain with roaming profiles and running Symantec Corporate Edition 10. We do use Symantec Corporate but we use version 11 and this machine is not on a domain. It will do this both to the user and the administrator accounts.

I posted it on the TechNet forums as well http://social.technet.microsoft.com...p/thread/15ce2f8a-f894-45d5-aa8e-54584fea0d71
