    intake, up-pipe, exhaust

    ALWAYS do your BPM's first

then if you have any money left over, get rid of the top mounter interheater.

My buddy has the Perrin downpipe and catback. Fully catless. But he has the MRT flex uppipe. Sounds BADASS and loud.

My setup is a little different. I went with a MRT flex uppipe, Helix downpipe catless, and a bosal cat-back. Love the sound.

You may want to look into engine managment for some quick gains also. If you can find a AccessPort from Cobb (www.cobbtuning.com) then thats a good way to go also.

I'm not too familiar with fuel systems, what are some good things to know for upgrading
that stuff? Injector sizes/pump sizes, etc..

I'm just trying to get an idea of what I'm going to do with the car

I have full exhaust on mine (helix up & dp plus espelir catback)
I did it for less than a grand, if you can score up an extra $100 you can order the Cobb Accessport as well and have all kinds of fun. the AP is super backordered though, unless you know where to look (and even then it's tough)

edit: you're gunna want gauges too (boost and EGT) which is another few hundred :o

heres a clip of my car (video is no good, but it gives you a good idea of what it sounds like)

You dont need an EGT, unlike what most ppl will tell you. Save the money and buy a wideband 02 and some kind of logger than can monitor timing and knock. An EGT just tells you when timing is being retarded because of knock, and the engine is dumping unburnt fuel into the exhaust where it combusts.

if the stock tires are still on it then wheels and tires, the stock tires suck...

    POWER:
then a nice turboback exhaust, an uppipe and some engine management. that is a stage 2 car for most vendors and you will probably be very happy with it. and i vote yes to gauges so that you can monitor your engie vitals.
    :OR:
    Suspension:
$1500 can buy alot of suspension pieces, make sure you research all the parts to see how they work together though. wheels and tire will make a very nice difference.
    :OR:
    Driving:
enroll in a driving school to learn how to really drive the car. it will olny help you decide where you want to take the car in the future.

sounds about right. if it's the same scooby from the other thread, it looks like you already have an aftermarket exhaust.

Another nice one to check out is the TurboXS Turboback exhaust. If you want to do things the right way, get a stealthback (Turboback that uses the stock catback) and uppipe from www.worldoneperformance.com and then get the Cobb AccessPort. You'll get engine management, a HP/TQ increase, and it'll be safe power.

ECUTek is only smart if you are going for a custom setup. No need for a dyno tune if all you are doing is adding an exhaust. The AccessPort has maps in for many popular upgrades without needing to pay for it to be tuned again (can get very expensive).
