Anyone know of any sites that sell ammo at a cheaper price than you can find at a gun store/range?
almost anywhere is cheaper than stores for most ammo
even when you factor in shipping?
for 9mm, go to walmart. If you're just looking for range ammo, that is...
Wal-Mart, Winchester White Box, 100 Round Value Pack, $18.42/100 rounds. Hard to beat it for plinking ammo.
Edit: beat me to it.
CCI Blazer Aluminum
$7.50 per box of 50rds
sometimes yes and sometimes no.
but, reloading is the way to go if you are going to be shooting a lot
ammunition to go
Depends on the caliber. You cant beat Walmart for 9mm. Even after the price hike
I am about to order me 500-1000rds of 9mm if my 1911 sale goes through and I can buy a 9mm
yea, believe me, I've looked all over for a better price on 9mm. wally world takes the prize...
for all your other needs (surplus and whatnot) do this one. Just leave some ammo for me.
what all do you need for a reloading setup? Is it that much cheaper than buying ammo?
I would like a break down also from someone who reloads 9mm. I did a calculation few weeks ago and it looked like I would be saving about 4 cents per round if I was using a FMJ bullet and about 8cents with lead bullets (cost of labor and brass not included).
